RESPONSIBILITIES
Kyra Engel joined Trustmoore in January 2020 as a Legal Account Manager in the Capital Markets team at our Amsterdam office. In this role she was responsible for ensuring the special purpose vehicles (SPVs) remained in good health while handling day-to-day legal and administrative client work. In 2024, Kyra joined the Internal Legal team as Legal Counsel and now works closely with Tessa van Dijk, our Chief Legal Officer, while continuing to support the Capital Markets team with complex legal cases.

FOCUS
Kyra focuses on providing the best possible service to our clients while ensuring all legal affairs of the Trustmoore Group remain in order.

EDUCATION
Kyra holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and economics from Hogeschool van Amsterdam. She is a certified Trust Officer and has also obtained several diplomas and certificates relating to her field of work, including securitization, the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) on derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories, and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II), specifically in relation to Structured Finance and Capital Markets.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining the Trustmoore Group, Kyra was a Financial Account Manager at Intertrust in Amsterdam. Before that, she spent more than six years as an Account Manager at TMF Group. In both trust offices, she was part of the Structured Finance & Capital Markets Services team.
