RESPONSIBILITIES
With a strong foundation in corporate services and regulatory compliance, Angèle serves as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Risk Officer at Trustmoore Malta, overseeing the full compliance lifecycle, from client onboarding, due diligence and risk reviews, to ongoing monitoring, reporting and escalation. Her role is to ensure our firm maintains best-in-class compliance and governance standards operating within a fast-evolving regulatory landscape.
Angèle originally joined Trustmoore in March 2020 as a Corporate Account Manager, transitioned into the Compliance Function in April 2021, and now leading the compliance, AML/CFT and risk activities for our Malta office.
FOCUS
Angèle’s core focus lies in implementing and maintaining robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) frameworks. This includes overseeing client risk assessments, reviewing and approving due diligence, managing transaction monitoring processes. Angèle is also responsible for maintaining effective policies and procedures in line with Maltese regulatory requirements, and coordinating compliance training for staff. In her role, Angèle is dedicated to promoting a culture of vigilance, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement across all business lines.
EDUCATION
Angèle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration & Management from the University of Chester. She also successfully obtained professional certifications from the International Compliance Association (ICA), including the ICA International Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and ICA Certificate in Corporate Compliance, which strengthen the practical and regulatory foundations of her role within Trustmoore Malta.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Angèle started her career in corporate services working with local providers including Affinity Management Services in Malta. Her last role before joining Trustmoore was Corporate Administrator at professional services firm Felicitas Group, where she spent nearly two years.
