RESPONSIBILITIES
Jamie Prins serves as Executive Managing Director EMEA, Capital Markets and Managing Director of Trustmoore Ireland. Since joining Trustmoore in 2019, he has played a central role in building and expanding the firm’s Capital Markets capabilities across multiple jurisdictons. As part of his responsibilities, Jamie founded Trustmoore’s Irish office and has overseen its growth from inception to a thriving, multi-disciplinary operation supporting a diverse portfolio of operational and capital markets clients.
FOCUS
In his current role, Jamie holds oversight for the Capital Markets line of business across our EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring strategic alignment, regulatory excellence and consistent delivery of high-touch, bespoke services. As a senior escalation point for complex transactions and regulatory matters, he partners with leadership across the business to drive innovation, operational efficiency and long-term strategic development of Trustmoore’s Capital Markets platform.
EDUCATION
Jamie holds a degree in Company Law from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and is a certified Trust Officer. He has completed multiple professional qualifications relevant to financial services regulation, including EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation), MiFID II (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and Solvency II. He continues to broaden his regulatory and leadership expertise in line with the evolving needs of the international capital markets environment.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Trustmoore, Jamie was a Legal Transaction Manager and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Director at TMF Management (Ireland) Ltd and previously held legal positions within the Structured Finance Department at TMF Netherlands. Over the years, he has built extensive experience across a wide range of transactions, including CLOs, RMBS/CMBS, receivables, distressed debt structures, aviation leasing, ESG-linked securitisations and MTN programmes. Earlier in his career, Jamie worked with boutique Amsterdam law firm Warendorf and at Robidus, further developing his legal and advisory foundation.
