RESPONSIBILITIES
Izabela is responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting processes of investment funds, primarily focusing on entry-level fund structures. Her role includes performing bookkeeping activities, preparing reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and supporting day-to-day fund operations. She also supports senior team members in the preparation of NAV calculations, contributing to the accuracy and completeness of financial information. She works collaboratively with internal teams and contributes to ensuring that all processes are carried out accurately and in line with internal procedures and financial standards.
FOCUS
Izabela’s professional focus lies in fund accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. She is particularly interested in developing her expertise in fund structures and continuously improving her technical and analytical skills.
EDUCATION
Izabela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Financial Control from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. During her studies, she initially focused on finance, accounting and financial control, and later specialized in Finance.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management, further strengthening her knowledge in financial analysis, reporting, and business decision-making.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Izabela started her professional career with an internship at the accounting firm Simbula OOD, where she supported daily accounting activities, including processing invoices, preparing credit notes, and assisting with VAT-related documentation.
During her studies, she gained experience in the banking sector through internships in retail banking at UniCredit Bulbank and later in Credit Risk at ProCredit Bank. These roles provided her with exposure to financial analysis, client evaluation, and core banking operations.
After completing her Master’s degree in Financial Management, Izabela joined ProCredit Bank as a Credit Risk Analyst, where she focused on financial analysis and the assessment of the creditworthiness of business clients.
