RESPONSIBILITIES
Joachim van der Velde joined Trustmoore Amsterdam in June 2024 as a Client Director.
He is part of the fund services team and manages a portfolio of private equity and venture capital funds, ensuring they are fully compliant with Dutch law & regulations and supporting them with day-to-day management.
FOCUS
In his role as Client Director, he focuses on the legal needs of his clients and is actively involved in expanding the fund portfolio.
EDUCATION
Joachim obtained his bachelor’s degree in Dutch Law and master’s degree in Notarial Law from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He is also a certified Master Trust Officer.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Joachim started his career at a boutique notary firm, focusing on M&A and corporate law. In 2014 he made the switch into the corporate services industry and gained further experience at the professional services firms Vistra and PraxisIFM as a (Senior) Corporate Lawyer and Business Unit Director.
