Managing the Clients Interests
The essence of rendering trust services is managing the client's interests. For a variety of reasons a company or private individual may decide to structure his assets through a company or use of a foundation in another jurisdiction. The client confides in the trust company to incorporate the company and to keep it in good standing in accordance with the legislation of the relevant jurisdiction. The trust company conducts daily management of the company, keeps the corporate and financial administration and makes sure that the company complies with local regulations. The company can enter into transactions: investments, holding or finance activities, whatever is possible within the limits of the statutory purpose of the company, the legislation of its jurisdiction and its balance sheet potential. In this relationship between client and trust services provider it is most important that the client knows and understands what the trust company is doing and that the client's interests are treated with utmost confidentiality.
